The Revamped Gower Buzzstop
After the previous bee mural was defaced earlier this summer, local artist, Jenksart, returned to Fairwood Common on 9 September to revamp the beloved brick bus stop, known now as the 'buzzstop'.
The bus shelter now not only hosts a new detailed 🐝 mural, but also a stunning artwork of a beautiful red kite, a bird that is becoming an increasingly regular sight in the Gower sky.
Thank you, Jenksart. You have now brought joy to all travellers along this stretch of country road, whether the are heading down to enjoy Gower, or reluctantly returning to their lives in the city 😀
As we drove away, I passed this character, known for using the bus stop as his personal barn. Seeing we were leaving, he seemed pretty keen to make his way back his brightly illustrated home for the evening.
